Packer Fan Tours will mark the 10th anniversary of the annual Packers Cruise by setting sail from Long Beach, Calif., for the Mexican Riviera on Sunday, February 27. This inviting cruise continues through March 6 and promises to be better than ever with a number of player and celebrity guests as shipmates: William Henderson, Tony Fisher, Aaron Kampman, Johnnie Gray, Robert Ferguson, Nick Barnett, and as an added bonus, team historian Lee Remmel.

The package boasts seven nights on the Carnival Pride cruise ship with 9-14 hour stops at popular Mexican Riviera ports Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. All shipboard meals and entertainment are included. The trip is sponsored by Sports Radio 107.5, The Fan. "It’s our 10th anniversary, but it’s the first time we’ve ever sailed out of a West Coast port for the Mexican Riviera," said Nanci Denissen, travel and operations manager for Packer Fan Tours. Exclusive Packers events—including a private autograph and picture session, a private Q & A session, and a private cocktail party—will make this trip an especially enjoyable one for Packers fans who opt to marry their vacation with their passion. (The cruise makes available official player photos for those who don’t have their own during the autograph session.) The lineup of players past and former is an especially good one, noted Denissen, and with sports announcer Johnnie Gray (safety, 1975-83) acting as the master of ceremonies, and Lee Remmel available to tackle any and all trivia questions involving the Packers during the Q & A session, this trip could be unlike any other in terms of humor and sheer goodwill among fans and players alike.

Packer Fan Tours cultivates a genuine family atmosphere that is reflected in the number of players who travel with members of their immediate family, Denissen noted. "When a celebrity feels comfortable enough to bring their family that says a lot for Packer Fan Tours," Denissen said. Prices start at $899 per person plus port taxes. Ocean view balcony staterooms are available for an additional charge. Special rates apply for cabins of three or more. A pre-cruise hotel package is available in Long Beach for those who wish to get a jumpstart on their vacation plans and spend some time in an outstanding coastal California city.
